In Child Friendly Village Planning (CFVP) process to achieve development goals for children and women. The programme has been implemented by two nodal NGOs, MYRADA and IVDP in eight blocks. CFVP has involved the community in a five day intensive participatory exercise using the assessment, analysis and action technique. 

The local communities are assisted to assess and analysis the current situation with regard to health, nutrition, education, water and sanitation. They discuss and prepare the action plan based on the survey findings that improve quality of their life. All Unicef supported programmes in the areas of RCH, HIV/AIDS, Nutrition, Child Development, Education, Water and Sanitation and Child protection are converged in this district.
